Happy days Nursery began as a home based childcare setting and expanded to open the Nursery premises in 2016. The nursery provides full day care for children aged 0-5 years old. Happy Days is very proud to have an outstanding reputation to provide high quality, professional, safe and loving care in Warwick.
My name is Francesca Roberts, I am the proud manager of Happy Days Nursery in Warwick. With over nine years’ experience in early years I believe that it is important to give every child the best start in our nourishing and stimulating environment. I have always been amazed by the rapid progress that children make and how much they accomplish in the Early Years. My vision and aims for Happy Days are that every child enjoys coming into nursery and that they learn and develop well with the support of the strong key worker system. I believe it is important for our families to work with our team to ensure that your child gains the best and most supportive early education. Here at Happy Days, I believe it is vital for children to have a good understanding of behaviour and attitudes, we productively encourage this by teaching the children how to self-regulate. We teach self-regulation by using our play areas to develop the children’s understanding of feelings. We provide structure through well thought routines, we are good role models and we teach children how to have empathy and to be caring individuals.
My intent is to provide a warm safe and stimulating environment where children can flourish and are individually guided to make good progress. We implement this through assigning each child with a key worker who will track your child’s development through our curriculum, Birth To 5 Matters. The key worker uses your child’s current interests to enrich and enhance the learning opportunities which are individually recognised. We track your child’s development through the seven areas of learning, we are keen to build strong and supportive relationships with parents. We welcome parent feedback, invite you in for parents’ evenings and give you the opportunity to contribute to your child’s learning journey.
The impact of the education and care that we offer is that children are happy, and they are learning well through play. Our children thrive and show a keen willingness to learn and progress. We receive great feedback from our local schools and outside agencies about the excellent progress and independence our children have already made. I am proud that we have a great passionate team who strive for excellence for our children.
At Happy Days I believe it is vital that we provide a cultural capital environment where we are able to give children experiences that they may not be able to get at home. For example, to learn new languages, the opportunity to learn sign language, being able to have one to one time, reaching out to our local residents, learn new experiences in our woodland area and many more experiences which key workers recognise.
Please take a look at our gallery and nursery Facebook page to see some of the excellent opportunities that are available here.
I look forward to meeting you and your little one.

All staff are employed via a robust safer recruitment process and are all DBS checked. It is the policy at Happy Days that all staff working in the setting will hold a valid First Aid Certificate.
Our team have experience in working with the Local authority and Multi Agency professional to safeguard and support children in their development.
Our Environment
Happy Days has a fantastic reputation for providing a “homely feel” environment for the children. We continue to provide this by making the setting a fun, caring and comfortable place to be. The Nursery is split into three age groups. We have the baby unit specially designed for babies under the age of two years old. Here they can explore and have space to safely move around to enhance their physical development. There are 2 calming separate sleep rooms for the babies so that they can rest and sleep quietly.
Once your child reaches two years old they will then progress to the Toddler Room. Here they will experience continued play activities to support their next stages of development. Your child can enjoy role play, messy/creative play, sand and water, maths and literacy activities and much more. There is a separate rest/sleep room if your child requires some rest time during their day.
As your child turns three years old, they will make a transition into the Preschool room. This room is laid out classroom-style in order to prepare your child for their next stages of starting school. The children will have extended activities planned for them to help fulfil their next steps of learning. We encourage the independence of the children through self-serving lunch, we have phonics times during group times and the children benefit from extra activities such as dance and French lessons.
Our nursery has a “Menerga” heating system installed in the building. This system works by continuously bringing fresh air into the building from outside, heating it then circulating it round the building before pushing it back out again. In the summer the system works on a reverse cycle, cooling the air before circulating it around the building. This creates a very healthy environment for the children keeping the spread of germs to an absolute minimum.
Our Outdoor Environment
At Happy Days we have a specially designed garden for the children to enjoy outdoor play. We have an outdoor playroom within the garden so that the children can experience free flow play between indoors and outdoors. The garden is partly covered so that we can enjoy the outdoor environment during all weather conditions.

Our Approach To Learning
At Happy Days we believe children develop best when they are “happy and content”, therefore it is our priority to “make those early days happy days.”
At Happy Days your child will be developing their first stages of learning. Through continuous play activities, individually planned, your child will begin to learn and develop through a world of play.
Your child’s learning experiences are planned around your child’s current interests and through our curriculum, Birth to 5 Matters. Providing enabling environments through our curriculum and knowing each individual child will help to promote and develop:
- Personal, Social and Emotional Development
- Communication and Language
- Physical Development
- Literacy
- Mathematics
- Understanding The World
- Expressive Arts and Design
At Happy Days we recognise all children are unique. Children will be supported by their key person to help develop their abilities and personality based on your child’s own special interests and needs. We will do this by working closely with you as parents and by forming strong parent partnership relationships. It is our aim to help create happy, confident, creative children, making them good communicators and having positive attitudes to learning so that they can progress well on their journey into the future.
